projects & Experience Overview

Have a look at my production experience as a senior 3D Artist and Lighting TD. Below you will find an overview of the projects I worked on as well as my tasks in the production. Mercedes Benz - V-Class

2023 - Spellwork GmbH, Berlin / Hybrid

Full CG production for the V-Class premiere. Several Movies where made as well as the related print production.

  • Asset shading of all Interior assets as well as headlight and tail light shading.

  • Setup, light R&D, lighting and rendering of all the Ambient light shots as well as headlight closeups and most interior shots.

Mercedes Benz GLS

2023 – Parasol Island, Düsseldorf / Remote

The Mercedes commercial features full CG shots. The aim was for a smooth light transition from dark to bright. Long and diverse camera animations in combination with a clean and smooth visual appearance defined the atmosphere of the film.

  • Setup, light R&D, lighting and rendering of the full Establisher, closeups and other interior and exterior shots.

Mercedes Benz GLB

2023 – Parasol Island, Düsseldorf / Remote

The Mercedes commercial features full CG shots. The challenge was to feature all the car detials in surprising camera moves around and through the environment mirrors.

  • Setup, light R&D, lighting and rendering of Establisher, Packshot and other interior and exterior shots.

Look development and realization of all cg visual content for an inhouse product customization and individualization project.

MERCEDES BENZ EQB & EQE

2021 - Spellwork GmbH, Berlin

The Mercedes commercials hold several full CG shots. We aimed for an abstract environment with a clean and smooth visual apperance.

  • Setup, lighting and rendering the majority of car exterior and cloth shots for the EQB TVC

  • Setup, lighting and rendering of several closeup shots for the EQE TVC

Lidl Parkside - Tools Reveal

2021 - Mackevision Medien Design GmbH, Hamburg

Full CG advertising to promote the Lidl tool brand “PARKSIDE”. The shading and lighting aims for a realistic but dramatic atmosphere. The film starts in the dark and lightens up over time to unveil a variety of tools. My main task, besides others, was to light the entry shot, as well as all closeup and near shots.

Virtual Production – LED wall 3D Operator

2020 – The Scope, Hamburg

Collaborating with Per Kasch & The Scope. Operating the LED wall for projecting 3D-content while on set. Previous preparation and optimization of various 3D-Assets in Unreal Engine, Maya & 3DS Max. Finalizing the scene lighting, camera positions and color corrections in close coordination with the art director in real-time on day of production. Software: Unreal Engine, Maya, 3Ds Max & VRay

TOYOTA – SIENNA 2021

Asset cleanup, modeling, shading & lighting of residential Housing. Car light enhancement for that environment. Software: Maya & VRay
